More SLX Entries and Lost a Sponsor
Building Shelter filled the sim this past Sunday! Well, it appeared so. Isabel side had 40 people in it (audience full with people standing) and the Wingo side had 10 contestants and a few people flying overhead to watch. I was very impressed with the turn out.
I finally got a few older Buiding Shelter entries posted into slexchange.com. As a side thought slexchange.com and the FFRC seem to be entering into an agreement to cross promote. Good for both of them! It got my vote at last week's FFRC meeting.
I've been way too busy with long work days and a scripting project that I have been working on with new in-game business partners. Just not enough time to process the entries, update the freebie vendor and enter things into SLX at the moment. I'll get caught up later. The good news is that the current inventory on SLX is and will continue to be available so there are plenty of nice items to peruse.
I've been informed by Francis Chung that she will not be able to sponsor the event any further. I am sad to see her leave but understand that things change for all of us. I thank Francis for months of support in keeping the game going and the weekly prizes up at 400L per round. She was very nice about it, there are no hard feelings and there is no drama whatsoever here.
I wish her the best in all of her business and personal ventures! If you have not already consider buying a Dominus Shadow - if you're into vehicles in Second Life this is one fine vehicle to be into.
I never did a proper "My Sponsors Series" entry for Francis as we're almost never online at the same time. Here is a snap that she provided me:
Finally, here are the latest SLX entries for your buying pleasure (note that these are from Memorial day!):
