More new CDs

Well, the rest of the CDs from this order came in. The soundtrack to the movie "Stealth" came today. This movie was rather a waste of time and would have REALLY been a waste of time if not for the soundtrack. It has many songs by Inubus. If you've reviewed my online song request list then you may already know that I have a thing for Incubus - great music. My earlier purchase of "Will the fetus Be Aborted" by Jello Biafra and Mojo Nixon was a single from the "Prairie Home Invasion" CD. The CD came in the other day and I've already added some start ratings to a few songs from it. Quite a nice suprise, that one.

In an earlier post I mentioned the recent evening of DJing in Coal's skybox. One of the songs that I played was the Dead Kennedys playing "Rawhide". I always thought that was such an amusing cover - a punk version of a country song. A lot of the "Prairie Home Invasion" disk is like a country infused continuation of that. They do a cover of "Convoy In The Sky" that almost made me cry - so much fun.
