Sunday Was Fine
As you may know I was a bit concerned that Sunday's game hosting (I host Building Shelter and Payment Podium) would be tough given the new changes to the client.
It did in fact slow me down quite a bit. There were a few instances where I had fired off two or three lines of text only to discover that nothing actually went out because the chat field had never actually been highlighted.
Another annoyance I discovered while hosting is that if you bring up the chat text field and press enter while it has no contents the stupid thing goes away! You have to then click the chat button, because simply hitting return does not bring it back up anymore, THEN paste your text then hit return. Not ther greatest workflow.
We also had some fun when Isabel crashed towards the end of the fourth build round :) Isabel is where the audience seats are so the contestants (on the Wingo side) just kept happily plugging away working on their builds while the host and audience logged back in.
Since I've only been posting negative things here lately I thought I'd spice things up with some screens from the game.
Here is FireEyes building the forbidden apple tree:
Here is the playing field right after the sim crashed:

Finally, just to make sure this post is not overly positive though here are a few pictures of morning rezziness:

Despite all the problems, you did a fine job of hosting Dol, as usual. Regardless of how many issues you were having (as were we all, comes with the territory!) Payment Podium went seamlessly from the audience standpoint. Sure, Building Shelter not so much, especially with that one unfortunate server hiccup, but it just added to the excitement! XD
Those last snapshots are frightening, I generally don't see such terrible rezzing outside of the Sunday night formal.
