YAY! I finally got a chance to see her play... even though I got called away to dinner before the concert was over...
She sounds an awful lot like Shawn Colvin to me... though Pamela (a big Shawn fan) merely commented, "Everybody wants to sound like Shawn Colvin." She is, however, fond of that same Joan Osborne song you are, Dol, and I think Cyl did it justice.

i just wanted to say thank you for having me last night. Despite some earlier technical difficulties I had with my router and the SL Client not transmitting the stream very well... these things happen from time to time. Regardless, the Shelter in Exile is a most supportive place to play and I'm very thankful for all of you who make it such a great venue to play in.
From the bottom of my heart... the woman behind the pixels... thanks you.
