Building Shelter Update

First - I've finally posted some of the newly formatted Building Shelter entries to SLExchange. Thanks to Coal Nelson for helping me through the process of determining the best, most manageable, format for the entries. I've not yet attached pictures to the entries - I hope to get around to that eventually. I still have a few dozen or more of them to get through though.

Here are the four that have been posted as of today:

20060518

I've enjoyed the break from hosting Building Shelter recently quite a bit. Reina Quine is currently hosting Thursday's show and that will continue. Coal Nelson has been filling in for me on Sunday's recently as the new year and my vacation caused my schedule to go crazy for the past month or so. Coal has agreed to continue hosting the Sunday edition shows for the time being. I'll continue to liason with our sponsors and will pass the funds on to Coal so she can continue to provide the same prize amounts and so that she doesn't have that extra task to manage. My sincere thanks go to Coal for providing me this break from Sunday night's hosting.

I'll be booking live music events at the Shelter (in Swinside) again starting soon. We'll get started again in February. The time will change though, instead of 5pm-6pm for a single act we will move things back to 5:30 and have two acts. The time change is to allow more time for Building Shelter's Thusday edition to wrap up normally and allow folks to use the elevators to get up to the skybox for the beginning of the show. The two acts will be an opening act and a headliner, 5:30-6:30PM and 6:30-7:30PM respectively. I've already got the 15th lined up (Charles Coleman headlining, opening act TBD) and the 21st (Jaycatt Nico and Frogg Marlowe headlining, opening act TBD).

Booking acts for Shelter and working on the M2M Jukebox and website should give me enough productive things to keep things fresh and interesting in SL for now.

Dixie - thanks for the kind words and for your interest in the Juke :)
