Jacek recently posted a blog entry with details on how to DISABLE the bloody noisy nasty typing noise. Completely. Kaput. Well, for your viewer that is. Coal had brought this to my attention in the past. The benefit to this method is that you could possibly leave other sounds on but not hear the annoying typing of others at live shows. Personally I find ALL noises in SL other than streaming music annoying (be beep, who haa, wewtwewt, argh!) so I'm happy to leave my settings on mute anyway. For others this might be quite useful.

My particular wish is not answered here. As I said to Coal when she first brought this to my attention - this cool tweak does the opposite of what I'm trying to accomplish. I want to suppress my own typing animation and my own typing sounds for everyone else's viewers.

Regardless - quite a find , Jacek (and Coal), and thanks for sharing it with us!
