Blame Vint, Thank Jacek
First let's thank Jacek - for the sculpted prim bass! WOOT!
I'd been bugging Jacek to make me a bass for a while since I've been working on this project for a long time and figured eventually I'd need an instrument. Jacek missed the performance I scheduled the other night but since finals are over Jace got crackin' and built me a sculpted prim bass! An Ibanez 4 string electric, noice.
Also, we might want to blame Vint Falken for this evening's show. Maybe thank her for the nice high quality picture she took at the show though:
See, Vint had not attended one of my little live performance things yet. After Tuesday's fun I thought Thursday would be a good night to do a follow up. I contacted DimiVan Ludwig about playing an open mic at the Hummingbird but the slots were full for Thursday, so I gave up on the idea. I figured I'd just do something this weekend. Along comes Vint today complaining that she has not gotten a chance to hear and after trying to evade her for a while I gave in and offered to just go ahead and play. I IMed some group channels and took over Swinside's dance floor again. Wouldn't you know, some people showed up to listen? Blame Vint - she made me do it. She practically grabbed my ribcage and pulled me over to Swinside... ok, starting to exaggerate too much....
Anyway, I had a lot of fun again, saw some more improvement I think and generally enjoyed the time with my friends. I created a group in case anyone wants to hear when the streaming may occur again, whether you want fair warning to TP away/run for the hills or would like to stop down and hear the chaos, search groups for Dolmere and self-add.
Next stop: checking on the possibility of playing right after/at the Shelter pool party in Isabel this Saturday night.

- Well the skellie was created by YadNi Monde and it's pre-sculpted prims. I'm hoping YadNi trains on sculpting cuz he will make one awesome Skeleton 3.0 AV for me to buy if he does. The ibanez bass IS a sculpted prim created by Jacek Antonelli.
Vint's post-treatment of the picture is awesome, really nice work Vint :)

Go ahead. Blame Vint, again. First it's my fault you hang out in strip clubs, and now it's my fault you gave away a great gig. Pfff.
