Tomorrow I will go ahead and play another ~1hr live music set. I've gotten approval to play at the end of the Saturday Shelter pool party which I'm hoping will make for great fun. The event listing with TP details and event reminder is linked at the top of this entry.

I learned something interesting today. If I open the events tab of the find/search window, with category:all, and search for "Dolmere", "dolmere", "dolmere's" or "Dolmere's" it returns no results even though my name is in the name/subject as well as the entry body.
If, however, I search on"Live Music" I get a hit on the entry.
Further testing reveals if I search for Live Music" I get a hit for "Live Music!!! Flaming Moe @ Blue Fusion...". OK, so now I search for "Flaming Moe" - what do I get? I get ONLY "Flaming Moe live on Galveston Island". Umm.. what happened to the first one it was showing me?
Is it possible that punctuation in the name/subject of an entry causes keywords after the punctutation to get suppressed from a search index? What is going on here? Next time I'll try removing the colon from my entry if I remember. :) After all I've had serious issues posting events in the past due to 1) double quotes in the entry body and 2) anchor tag html in the entry body - jeesh.
