Response to Challenge #17: List Yer Groups

Vint has posted the not-a-meme challenge #17 since we haven't had a new one in a while. This one asks you to list out the groups you belong to. I can handle that (says the guy who has still not made a new friend nor even reported on an oddball place!) challenge.

Atheists United
Group charter:
"Atheists & Agnostics of the World Unite :)

Other groups of interests to free thinkers:
Brights
Freethinkers
SL Humanism
SL Existentialism"
I love this group. They meet occasionally, usually on Sundays, and chat about various topics.

Temporary complete aside
OK, time to make good on my tagline about rambling, eh?
I've just finished reading Richard Dawkins' book "The God Delusion". What a wonderful read! I highly recommend you buy 10 of these as you'll want to give at least 9 to friends and family after reading this thing.
I've moved on to reading "Snow Crash". I expected more from this book. Hopefully the remaining 2/3 of the book turns out to make it worth the time.

Building Shelter
The game show that I created with lots of help. It's currently hosted by Coal Nelson on Sundays and Reina Quine (Don't call her Renee!) on Thursdays. The group is a keeper but my involvement with the game is currently around nil.

Dolmere Basstastic Perversion Live
Ummm... info about when I'm going to be streaming my noise into the world of SL next and stuff. Keeper :)

For the Love of Music!!!
I was invited into this group by Bree Darling I think. Bree made me an officer which was quite nice.
Group charter:
"Musicians Support Network...

Our first goal will be to aquire a stream for musicians.

Getting close folks!!"

Seems like a keeper though it's been pretty dormant.

Independant Musicians Group
Group charter:
"For ALL Independant Musicians in Second Life and our supporters.

If you are a musician then please ask to be added as an Officer of this group, you will then be able to send Notices to announce when your shows will be."

One of the groups I belong to in order to receive group chat about live events when in-world.

Lazy Duck
This is my friend Dan Gerstort's group. I've been in it in order to rez things on his land, help with maintenance, etc. I think he sold off his land and he's not been in-world all that much recently. I'm going to keep it since I have room but it's one that could likely go from underuse.

Live Music Enthusiasts
The other group I belong to in order to receive in-world group chat on what's happening in the live music scene. Love it when I have enough time to catch a show and then one shows up in chat!

Melodies
Group from my friend calmtommy Lowell. He uses this to manage access to his land for our jukebox.

Melodies Ltd.
Group charter:
"Melodies Ltd is a group for musicians and music lovers. Live music only please."

calmtommy Lowell's live music group.

Second Life Bloggers
Why not, I have room, I blog.

Shelter in Exile
Group created when we spun off the Swinside Shelter. Used to manage group access to that land.

Shelter Infrastructure
I use this group to donate my 512m2 (ok, -16m2) to the Shelter.

The Cylindrian's Fan Club
Poor title but it's a group I use to hear when Cyl is playing in-world.

The SHELTER
My one and only home sweet home.

Tukso Rocks
I wouldn't have room if I joined the group of every artist I want to listen to. One of the reasons creating my own group seems silly, but whatever. Life is full of little surprises.

MP
Was used to control access to land owned by Mera Pixel. Mera took down her store so I really don't need the group anymore at this point.

There we go - my groups. What fun. Next?

[Edit]
Oh, and Vint asked
"PS. Is forcing your skeleton baby to play the bass whilst you are flying allowed by child labour law? :D"

You know, I meant to change out that attachment to make the fetus take a hiatus. Had too many thing to do as the start time was approaching like send TPs, invites, etc and forgot to remove the bAAbie. Oh well, the tike has to learn to strum some time, why not in utero?
