Rich Desoto's Open Mic Again

I played tonight's open mic at Los Arboles run by Rich Desoto again tonight. It was about 7:10-7:30 PM SLT, I played about 5 or 6 songs ending with my typical closer (I did not last week knowing that I was not signing off the for the night). Much fun, these "live" gigs are.

Roenik sent me a more complete strumming animation for the bass - my little skelly head moves around a bit. It's very nice and now pretty much complete. I may go back for more later so I can script the bass to randomly trigger between a few optional animations, just to keep the avatar animation kinda fresh throughout a set.

I am not likely to play another set for the next two weeks. I'll try to remember to post the next event I schedule here as well as a notice to the group "Dolmere Basstastic Perversion Live".

I did struggle with the group name - should I have used plurals, possessives? Dunno - I kinda liked the sound of the nouns when creating the group but now I wonder if another name would have been better. It's also apparently a long group name, it truncates in the IM message window :)

Hmmm. It doesn sound a bit like you're not willing to participate in the 'Keeping Second Life Safe, Together' routine. Perversions, hé?! We have to get rid of all of them... *Is doubting if she should now AR the Shelter.* As you work there. *And the girl that helped you with the bass animations.* Tell me, does it move your head from left to right a bit? Like you're saying 'No, I don't want to participate?' ;)

Good point Vint, I'll probably get a bunch of ARs against me for the title of this group. Perhaps I should change the title to "Light and Fluffy Kid Safe Rock From Happy, Happy People".
