AFSLAFMA

The other day I was doing my usual - hovering around an empty sim multitasking my butt off when someone popped in and said hello in public chat. This happens to me a lot really. Usually I'm either deep in instant message land or other less frequent times I'm in another app (say writing a blog post, editing screen snaps for a blog post, surfing the web for news or whatever) and all but forgot SL is still running.

So when Second Life is not really the frontmost application "AFK" doesnt really mean as much, does it?

You: sorry, was AFK processing pics for my blog
You: hmm, not afk then, huh? I was away from SL as the frontmost app
You: so that's like AFSLAFMA

Yeah, but "AFK" is a whole lot easier to type. :-)
