Scripting Recipes for Second Life - Second Life Insider - Cousin Akela points out a new book on the market named "Scripting Recipes for Second Life" by Jeff Heaton. I really like the idea and would consider purchasing the book but I had ONE thought (Akela had two) when I heard about the book. "Why invest money in LSL when mono may eventually change scripting in SL forever?"

Does anyone think that mono will actually arrive, ever? I wish they were doing Ruby or Python instead of mono but they have their reasons. LL - shelve voice and windlight and bring us mono and puppeteering (and havok++) :)
