Dolmere Talamasca - Second Life "resident": Cylindrian Live At SL'Ang Life

I went to see Cylindrian perform a live set today. I had never been to the sim she was playing before. It was an island called SlangLife. Apparently she was filling in for ~~Grace McD~~ Jaynine Scarborough who had to cancel the show due to ~~a cold~~the flu (thanks for the correction, Cyl).

When I first TPed in I was disoriented as usual because the world was rezzing. However it got worse instead of better as I discovered I was standing in the middle of a street instead of a venue. Huh. Time to get out the mini map and look for green avatar-life-form dots to walk towards.

On my way towards the cluster of concert goer green dots I noticed something just too amusing to pass by. I had to stop and wait a good long while for it all to rez in but it was worth it.

Cylindrian was playing a new prim guitar. It was black with kinda cherry colored wood brige and tuning pegs. I also heard from her that she traded in her new PINK (she says purple) guitar for another Takamini acoustic because of an electrical issue with the PINK one. Maybe this new prim guitar matches the look of her latest RL purchase?

She was also wearing an adorable backpack with a patch sewn on the back "HOMELESS SWEET HOMELESS". Cute. I didn't take any pictures from the front as the holiday decorated stage was turning my stomach, had to cam away. Instead enjoy this snapshot or two of her backpack.

Thankfully she did not play any Christmas or other holiday tunes to drive me to mute. Instead she played all of her own original music and I listened to the whole wonderful set!

Hey there...thank you so much for blogging this show, Dolmere. I just have to make one correction. I was filling in for Jaynine Scarborough who was ill with the flu. i cannot wait for this magazine to come out tho'. T'will be kewl!!

Melynn - thanks for reading. Some people would call it purple. For instance Cylindrian, Frogg or Melynn. I say it was pink because I want it to have been pink. That amuses me more than purple. :)

Cylindrian, thanks for the clarification on filling in for Jaynine, not Grace McD.
