Reuters/Second Life - EXCLUSIVE - Rosedale to step down as Linden Lab CEO


Stuart Warf just shared this info with me in-world.

Phil Rosedale is going to move to a chairman of the board position and LL will being searching out a new CEO for the company. They're looking for someone with operational and management expertise than Phil brings to the table while he takes a role as the chair of the board to continue making "contributions to vision, strategy, and design."

Hmmm... it's not really all that bad a move.

Mitch Kapor, current chairman of the board of LL, will "will remain a board member and the company’s largest investor".

The Podmafia folks will be having a live podcast taping at 7PM SLT tonight
