79th Sibling Rivalry Bump

Yesterday's SRB saw Spinning Mule's One Embrace go from 236 / 67 to 266 / 71 while sib Laurel Jackson's Are You went from 377 / 98 to 386 / 103

Today we revisit Da Bluez Preacher (SL: SRV4U Conacher) whose song Since I met you is at 66 / 28

Since my account is still locked out on t61 (I'm informed that my email address is no longer in the system) I have no access to my tunebox messages. That means day 2 of "Dolmere's own sibling picks": Junkyard Rukus's 'Lectric Church is at 41 / 15

HELP WANTED:
I'm looking to rename the Sibling Rivalry Bump with a name that sheds the antogonistic history. I think we've hopefully moved past that stage and the kids are now able to play the game without pulling on each other's hair. Any suggestions for a new name?
Suggestions so far:
1. friendly rivalry bump (not all that different, eh?)
2. what's an avatar among friends bump (I kinda like this one but it's a bit long?)
3. Spread the Love (Mallow's so sappy, so is Sally - 2 votes)
4. Bump Love
5. Love Bumps (3 votes)
6. Back Scratch Bump
7. Best of Both Worlds bumps (2 votes)

Also, there are now about 97 artists in rotation for our bump runs. At one bump a day that's a bump per artist once every 3 months or so. My latest thought goes like this: 2 SL artists, 1 Sib song per day. The group notice would contain a link to my blog entry with the links to the t61 songs. My t61 profile would have the three latest targets on the profile picks and a comment entry also simply pointing at my blog entry. I think this would save me time and effort while still remaining a fair way for everyone to get easy access to the links. I think I'll start this next week unless there are any objections - just IM me or leave a comment wall message on t61.

WHY THE BUMP BOMBS ARE NOW CALLED SIBLING RIVALRY BUMPS:

HOW WE CHOOSE THE ARTIST AND SONG (SUBJECT TO CHANGE):
From each artist in SL we choose the song that is closest to 100 points without going over and try to get it as many votes from as many unique voters as possible.

Our efforts are:
- Helping artists level up
- Keeping us engaged and active as a group
- Systematic and fair

Our in-world group is now at 135 group members and growing. We're tracking over 95 artists who have accounts in SL. It's nice to have you along for the ride :)

NEW ARTIST NOTE:
New artists will remain on the "todo" list until they join our in-world group. I am not putting them into rotation until they join. I realize that there is a limit to the number of groups that we can join and that is a big pain for all. However, I've had too many artists contact me to ask to get into rotation AFTER they've already been bumped by the group.

NOTE ON GROUP NOTICES:
Artists - please, please, please do NOT use the 61 group for live show announcements :) Use group chat for that. Notices should be for thanking fans, alerting us about new songs you've posted and other on-topic information about your web based 61 accounts. If you could also try to keep it to like one notice per week that would be swell :)
