Fighting the Urge...

So I've been checking out some land over in a sim near mine - neat sort of hilltop land. But I'm resisting the urge. I already feel like a bit of a git for having too much as it is. Mera's going to build me a low prim house or two (she felt the urge to build and asked for a direction), which I can then plop on part of my land and rent out, I guess. Except that I suck at promotion/sales/marketing, so those things'll sit empty for ages. Unless friends decide to rent them... and then I'll feel guilty asking for money...

...because I also suck at negotiation. :) Several times now I've agreed to take on different tasks without even asking how much it'll pay. :P Or if it'll pay. I am so damn nice sometimes, it amazes me. :)

But some things it feels silly to charge for. With the help of my fabulous sys admin, I set up a blog for Dolmere on the server where lovelymachine.com lives (which is also hosts a variety of other domain names, because you never know when you might need inappropriatelydressed.com). (That last part is a joke. I do not own inappropriatelydressed.com.) What's one more webpage in that mess? A drop in the bucket. Unless Dolmere decides to become a big shot, nationally syndicated author. ;) In which case... well, sorry Dol. You're on your own. :D

If I do rent some of the land out, I'll have to start paying attention to prim counts and stuff. Blech. But it'd be nice to be able to pay Mera for her work, because she's gotta pay tier too.

At last. 5pm. I get to go home now. Enough babbling on the blog.
